Micro srishti water situation on Sunday.

As promised, society needs to supply BMC water from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Sunday (as special Sunday bonus), however on ground what can society management do if water supply falls short, so water today came for usual 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM (special Sunday bonus of 15 minutes.)

Root cause for problems in Micro Srishti water problems (and other problems too!)

Well as usual with all societies in mumbai, people on rent in society have no say in society affairs.
same is the case with Micro srishti society, When this building was constructed, it's apartments were sold at comparable throwaway prices by shristi group. so many of the famility living in nearby chawls shifted to this society after buying flats here.
However, as with all towers in mumbai, this society charge maintenance amount of Rs. 5000/- towards maintenance charges per month and Rs. 1500/- per month if you do not choose to live here (no occupancy charges). so along with EMI , it is hard for many owners to pay maintenance charges also.
So essentially maintenance deposit on time is a rare scenario. and putting any penalty on defaulters will require approval of society members in majority. and that never happens !! so society is always in lack of funds. Except for Ganesh chaturthi, if any festival is celebrated, all the owners and renters are charged Rs. 300/- for these functions.

Anyways the before last week, the water supply was like 1.5 hours in morning and 1.5 hours in the evening. But than most of this supply used to come using external tanker supplies that were paid. So society organised an emergency meeting last week and decided that no external tanker will be hired any more at any cost. and so fro that day till today we are forced to live on 1 hour water supply a day.

you talk to insiders here and they tell the truth, house owners living in society are happy to live this way, because they are not forced to pay extra. but what about those living on rent, they are worst sufferers, they had to pay the same old rent for third class facilities.

Usually management had promised that they will supply BMC water from 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM for 2 hours.

However in practical, water supply starts around 6:40 AM and gets finished up to 7:10 AM, after that second round of supply (that too for only floor 1- 7) starts at 8:00 AM up to 8:15 AM. so essentially you get 1 hour of staggered water supply.

this mentioned friday, however we got a water supply from 6:35 AM to 6:45 AM (10 minutes), then 8:05 AM - 8:15 AM (10 minutes) in only 1 bathroom (not in kitchen etc.) with very slow water pressure. Apparently the reason for this given by society was that motor didn't worked. However society is very strict about the supply time implementation, and no matter what kind of water supply you get from 6:30AM - 8:30 AM, they will not supply water at any cost outside this limit (as this is agreed by house owners.)...

Micro srishti wise management part 2

Well, if you ever visit Micro Srishti apartments, and will see the way bathrooms are built, you might get impressed.



Now, let me give a brief intro, will be required in explanation later on:
1) marked in red is the jet,
2) green for flush
3) the yellow is the mystery tap , i will explain.

there are two water supplies like other societies, that are used in micro shrishti:
1) water for boring (usable for toilets or cleaning)
2) potable water supply from BMC, usable for drinking and kitchen purposes.

Now micro srishti had water problem as claimed from BMC side, the potable water supply is only available for 1-1.5 hours in every 24 hour, that too in early morning time (6:30 Am - 7:30 AM) in parts of 15-20 minutes at a stretch.

So the society gave owners of apartments a choice of borewell water for their toilets, so that at least they can use toilets 24 hour. If you see in other societies, only borewell water is supplied in toilets for flush and jet purpose. However Micro Srishti is not a normal society. They choose their own unique way. On demend at an one time expanse of Rs. 2000 per apartment, they provide a tap marked in yellow in picture. This tap gives you borewell water supply. at the same time, they connect the flush to borewell supply (marked in green.). However, society decided that giving jet the borewell water supply will lead to wastage of water. So the jet (in red) gets water from BMC supply only. So if a person living in society needs to relieve himself in the 22.5 hours of a day , he will get flush, but no jet. with english sheets (shown), you can imagine the mess it creates, consider the situation for a normal right handed men ... :-)
besides that, supplying precious BMC water in jets puts a question mark on water saving efforts.

Moral of story is: this society runs on decisions taken by some very wise people, you will definitely get a taste of such decision, once you move in here.

Micro Shrishti's wise management group part 1.

Well, Micro Shristi society is managed by some high class intellectual. The rules made are to make sure that society competes with the best societies of London directly.
Some of the decisions taken by this society to maintain it's reputation are:
1) No independent Dish Tv's are allowed: to maintain beauty of this society, you are not allowed to install any of Dish Tv or Tata Sky's in your balcony. There is one In cable provider only, whose connection you can take for cable connection (monopoly!!).
2) No piped gas: for same reason, any such connection will affect the beauty of building.
3) No internet service provider except one cable provider that provides tv connection. Initially i tried going for Hathaway connection, but society never gave it permission to come in. so again monopoly!!

Other factor is the super hygienic and modern toilet system, which i shall cover in my next post !! 

Water Problem update for Micro Srishti Bhandup west

Hi Guys,

to save water tanker charges, society has come up with innovative idea, it had issued circular that running water will be available for full 2 hours a day on everyday except sunday. On sunday it will be available for 3 hours in every 24 hours.

this is in benefit of house owners, as they don't want to increase expenditure on them. for for rent payers, even though at the time of letting the flat they were promised of 24/7 water supply. it is a cheating they are facing from last 6 months at least.

This society charges them Rs. 4000 over and above every other expense for  moving into society.

Anyways that was about circular, after this circular, reality of water supply is:

1) water start coming at 6:30 AM - 7:05 AM

2) at 7:05 AM water finishes, so water is stopped and supply resumes at 7:45 AM.

3) from 7:45 AM - 8:05 AM water got supplied, after that water will be only supplied next day morning only (as promised in circular.)

So in reality , after this circular, water is supplied only 1 hour in 24 hours. And yes due to beautification concerns, Society does not allow flat owners to install their separate water tankers in their flat !!!

Micro Shirishti water timing updates.

Because of some reasons, timings of water had changed again without any notice to residents, now the revised time is:
1) 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM (2 Hours)  -- doesn't matter what residents office time be.
2) 7:00 PM to 2 AM (8 Hours)

so it's now in total 10 hours a day water supply, that they provide.
and apparent reasons for it that you are told on complaining: the whole city is having problem, and no tankers came, so bear with us !!
